The 1967 Dodge Charger was a car driven by Dominic Toretto when he was a teenager whilst was racing against his brother, Jakob Toretto in F9.

Whilst in Lompoc Prison, Dominic Toretto works on his Charger and meets Tego Leo and Rico Santos. When Dom is released from prison, he tracks down Jakob who has become a prominent street racer in the LA Street Racing scene and he challenges Jakob, stating that if he (Dom) wins then Jakob must leave LA forever.
Dom and Jakob race and Dom is able to trick Jakob into letting off his NOS too early, allowing Dom to win the race and forcing Jakob to leave Los Angeles.

- The race between the '67 Charger and '92 Mustang reflects a future race between Dom's 2020 Dodge Charger Hellcat and Jakob's 2015 Ford Mustang GT350 in Montequinto.
