Multiple corrupt Rio Police officers use this car alongside the Ford Explorer to chase Brian and Dom through Rio when they steal the vault. One is shown to give up its pursuit when the Ford Explorer crashes into a light. The car is also shown alongside another wave of police cars along with Hernan Reyes as they try to stop Brian and Dom from stealing the vault. When Dom chooses to allow Brian to escape so the former can face the police himself, he uses the vault to destroy one of the Jettas, causing it to crash near a crevice.
