A 2014 Audi R8 appears at the start of Furious 7. Letty Ortiz uses a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda against another racer's 2014 Audi R8 in Furious 7 during Race Wars. However, the R8's pistons fry and its transmission gives out during the quarter mile race, giving Letty an easy win.
