Biography[]
Ben is best friends with Virgil Hu. He is a straight A student and he plays on the school Basketball team with little minutes. He participates in many extra curriculars. He then develops a crush on his lab partner Stephanie Vandergosh.
Ben meets Daric Loo and becomes part of a school wide cheat sheet operation. He makes cheat sheets and sells them to students. Ben finds out Stephanie has a boyfriend but he lets him take her to Winter Formal. He joins the Academic Decathlon team along with Virgil, Han, and Daric where most their practices at Daric's house end up in drinking parties. The gang end up selling drugs and Ben wakes up one morning with a nosebleed. He decides to quit and the gang give Ben a gun for this birthday.
The team goes to Las Vegas for the finals. Daric hires a prostitute for everyone and Ben loses his virginity. Ben and Stephanie start developing a friendship then they attend winter formal together. On New Year's Eve the gang murder Steve. Ben and Stephanie kiss at midnight. After hearing a phone call, Ben debates whether or not to report Steve's murder to the police.
Ben is now seperated from the group. Stephanie wonders if he heard anything from Steve which Ben quickly denies.
