The Chevrolet Monte Carlo Stock Car is a minor vehicle driven by Jack Toretto in F9.
History[]
F9[]
A Chevrolet Monte Carlo stock car was driven by Jack Toretto. During the last race of the 1989 stock car season, Jack was on the racetrack, overtaking his opponents while avoiding oil slick and his rival Kenny Linder due to his dirty tricks. Jack then went for a pit-stop where his two sons Dom and Jakob were working as his pit crew, along with their crew chief Buddy. While Jack has Jakob work under the vehicle's hood (as part of an attempt to fake his death so his family can have a better life), Dom gets into an argument with Kenny Linder for his dirty tactics and bullying on the racetrack. Dom is then told by Jack to leave it since it's about being the bigger man, not being the stronger one. Jack gets back on track along with Kenny Linder, but as they near the next lap, Kenny races dirty and clips the back bumper of Jack and causes him to hit a wall at 120 mph just as the Monte Carlo's engine was about to blow thanks to Jakob's tampering. The Monte Carlo blew up, bursting it into flames which killed Jack much to the horror of Dom and Jakob as the former tries to rush to the wreckage to save his dad, only to be held back by Buddy.
A week following the accident, Kenny Linder approached the Monte Carlo's wreckage to pay his last respects to Jack, moments before he is beat up by Dom with a wrench which resulted him being sent into prison for two years.
Trivia[]
