Biography[]
Audition Race[]
Darden and his teammate Korpi were amongst the street racers who appeared for an audition race to collect a package from the boatyard for Carter Verone in exchange for a job opportunity. After being debriefed by Verone, Darden competed with Korpi and four other drivers against Brian O'Conner and Roman Pearce. As Brian and Roman took the lead while racing on the freeway, he witnessed one of the racers get crushed by a truck and another racer crash, although he, Korpi, and the remaining racers were able maneuver around the crash scene safely. Later, he and Korpi arrive at the boatyard, only to witness Roman and Brian collect the package. As a result, Darden was ordered by Korpi to get the package from them and prevent them escaping. As Darden pulled out a gun, U.S. Customs arrived at the scene. As Roman began to shoot, Darden and Korpi used the diversion to flee.
Pink Slip Race[]
He and Korpi later participated in a 1/4 mile return drag race against Brian and Roman. In the first round, he was able to take the lead and beat Roman after knocking a sign into the latter's path, although in the second round, Brian was able to win after stalling Korpi. As a result, he and Korpi gave up their cars as Brian and Roman needed them because their 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder and 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII were bugged with tracking devices.
