  • In August 2021, it was confirmed that Dwayne Johnson would not be appearing in any more Fast and Furious movies.[6]
  • In 2013, Lucas Black signed a 3-movie deal with Universal. As he has appeared in Furious 7 and F9, it is possible that he will appear in the final film.[7]
  • Although believed to have been filmed back-to-back with Fast X, the final film is still in development.
  • In 2023, Vin Diesel revealed that he wanted Robert Downey Jr. to join the franchise as the "antithesis" of Dom, and Michelle Rodriguez revealed she wanted Matt Damon in the cast.[8]

  • In December 2025, Vin Diesel announced that a role had been written for Portuguese footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo. It is unconfirmed whether he will star in the film or if this was a false report from Diesel[11].
