"I wrecked her car. You remember her face? Huh? 'Cause I don't. The last time I saw it, it was burnin'."
―Fenix Calderon to Dominic Toretto[src]

Fenix Calderon was Arturo Braga's lead henchman and led the teams that ran drugs under the US-Mexico border. He is the secondary antagonist in Fast & Furious. He also attempted to kill Letty Ortiz.

Fast & Furious

Arturo Braga (disguised as Campos) would hire drivers to run heroin under the US-Mexican Border, with Fenix as the leader. Once the delivery was complete, however, Fenix and his fellow henchmen would kill all of the drivers on the orders of Braga. Letty was one such driver who was working undercover for Brian O'Conner. She did however manage to escape in her car as she realized that Fenix was going to murder the team. However, Fenix chases her and crashes into her car, flipping it over. As Letty lies injured, Fenix approaches her with the intention of shooting her. However, he chooses to shoot the gas tank and Letty is thrown into the underbrush where Fenix leaves her for dead. However, she survives, albeit with amnesia, and later becomes member of Owen Shaw's team

In a chase through the tunnels, he T-boned Brian O'Conner's car, causing him to crash. When Brian crawls out of the car, Fenix kicks him a few times and is about to shoot him but Dom comes out of the tunnel and T-bones him, using a Chevrolet Camaro F-Bomb, killing him.

  • Expert Marksman: Calderon was skilled in the use of firearms, particularly pistols. He shot and killed several of Braga's drivers with his sidearm.
  • Bilingualism: Calderon spoke English and Spanish.

  • M1911A1: Calderon's sidearm was a highly customized pistol, with a black frame, a golden-plated and engraved slide, raised sights and custom grips. He used it to kill Braga's drivers and shoot a gas tank near Letty. He later aimed it at one of Braga's drivers, intending to shoot him before he was interrupted by Toretto. He cocked the hammer while talking to him, intending to shoot him, before an explosion ensued, caused by Toretto, which made him drop his gun. Calderon later prepared to shoot O'Conner, but instead fired it at Toretto as the latter sped toward him in his car.
