Montequinto Rescue Mission[]
After receiving a distress signal from Mr. Nobody after his plane crashed in Montequinto, Dominic Toretto's Crew traveled there to scour the wreckage of his plane and find what Mr. Nobody left for them. However, they had a limited window of time due to the country's isolationist military regime.
Upon arriving in Montequinto, they found the wreckage of the plane in a militarized zone and discovered a half of Project Aries before they were ambushed by the military who had the area locked down. The team were chased by the military through a minefield which they narrowly avoided. Roman's car was destroyed and he joined Ramsey and Tej in Tej's 2020 Jeep Gladiator where they were able to cross the border via an unstable bridge.
The team were observed from afar by Jakob Toretto and after Letty Ortiz was knocked off her motorcycle, she loses the half of Project Aries and Jakob was able to grab it and escape. Dom and Letty chase him in Dom's 2020 Dodge Charger Hellcat and Jakob drove his car off a cliff and was caught by a magnet plane and flown away.
To escape the military, Dom drove his car towards the wreckage of the bridge and his car is caught on an old chain for the bridge which throws him across to another island. As a result, the military flew left as the team was out of their jurisdiction.
Michael Stasiak reassured the team that they were clear but the fact that a covert spy plane crashed and was followed by special ops recovery mission means he has to step back after getting them to the Caspian Sea.

Trivia[]
- The scenes for Montequinto were filmed in Thailand, however the cast were never in Thailand and their scenes were filmed on soundstages and green screen in London.
