The Ford Crown Victoria is a minor car in the Fast & Furious series. A majority of police forces use this vehicle in each of the installments while a majority of taxi drivers in New York use this vehicle in The Fate of the Furious.

History[]

The Fast and the Furious[]

Ford Crown Victoria police cars are shown in the beginning along with Chevrolet Caprices where they chase down street racers. One chased Dominic Toretto, though it was later switched to a Chevrolet Caprice when the cop turns around due to an error. Later a Ford Crown Victoria was shown being used by Tanner, where he arrives at a street to "arrest" Brian O'Conner, before bringing him to the LAPD's base so he can be debriefed by Bilkins on the undercover operation. One Ford Crown Victoria was also shown when Brian and the SWAT Team prepare to raid the respective homes of Johnny Tran and Lance Nguyen, believing them to be the suspects of truck hijacking.

In an alternate ending featured in the Blu-Ray bundle for all five movies, named "More than Furious", Tanner drives a Ford Crown Victoria to drop off Brian at 1327 after the latter had been resigned for aiding the escape of Dominic Toretto.

2 Fast 2 Furious[]

Several U.S. Customs and FBI use various Ford Crown Victoria cruisers to chase down street racers including Brian O'Conner, who had recently won a race and has been watched by Monica Fuentes, an undercover agent recruited by Bilkins to apprehend Carter Verone. One was used by Markham when he was able to apprehend Brian by firing an ESD launcher at the Nissan Skyline GT-R that he drove. During the climax, the Miami Police Department use Ford Crown Victorias and Chevrolet Caprices to chase down Brian and Roman.

Furious 7[]

The second generation Ford Crown Victoria vehicles are shown as police cars and a few of taxis during the battle against Mose Jakande. With the police's involvement in this, several of them alongside Dodge Chargers were used to chase down a Chevrolet Caprice Classic driven by Roman, but were destroyed and shot by Jakande's helicopter.

The Fate of the Furious[]

The second generation Ford Crown Victoria vehicles are shown as a majority of New York taxis. Many of them were hacked in order to trap the limousine.
