Gary Scott Thompson is an American executive producer, director and screenwriter.[1] Thompson is one of the original writers for The Fast and the Furious and the story writer for 2 Fast 2 Furious. He is credited as the creator of the characters of the Fast & Furious franchise.
Biography[]
Thompson was raised in American Samoa. Thompson gained exposure as an actor. He received a Master of Fine Arts degree from New York University and went to work as a playwright. Thompson's theater credits include Small Town Syndrome, Cowboy's Don't Cry and Private Hells.
Gary Scott Thompson was the show runner and executive producer of the 2008 NBC reboot of the 1980 series, Knight Rider. He was the creator and executive producer of NBC's hit series Las Vegas. Thompson was also the writer for the The Fast and the Furious and 2 Fast 2 Furious. His other features include Hollow Man, Split Second, and 88 Minutes.
