Hobbs Customs is an automotive garage owned and operated by Jonah Hobbs and his brothers in Samoa.
History[]
Background[]
Jonah Hobbs was a skilled mechanic in Samoa who aided his father and several of his brothers to commit crimes. After one of his brothers, Luke, turned their father in to the authorities after his father's dismissive attitude got some of their brothers killed, Jonah developed an intense hatred towards Luke, prompting Luke to abandon his family and relocate to the United States of America in 1994. Afterwards, Jonah decided to put his mechanic skills to use to create a legitimate business and opened a custom garage in Samoa, which he ran with his brothers. The garage had clientele from all over the world and allowed Jonah to support his family.[1]
Return of Luke Hobbs[]
Following a tense reunion with Luke and after being goaded their mother Sefina Hobbs to help Luke, Deckard Shaw, and his sister, Hattie Shaw to protect the latter from Eteon after she injected herself with the Snowflake, Jonah brought the trio to the garage, begrudgingly stating that the garage helped support the Hobbs Family following Luke's abandonment of them. There, Hattie was impressed by the operations run at the garage, prompting Luke to explain his past and the events that led to him leaving Samoa.
Battle of Samoa[]
Throughout the rest of the day, Jonah repairs the extraction device while the Samoans fortify the facility to prepare for Eteon's arrival. At dawn, Eteon super-soldier Brixton Lore led a platoon of Eteon soldiers to the facility, prompting the Samoans and Shaw siblings to engage in battle, starting the Battle of Samoa. As the facility becomes a battleground, Hattie was eventually captured by Brixton, prompting Deckard, Luke, and his brothers to give chase and anchor the helicopter down.
