Luke Hobbs' Team was a team of DSS agents tasked with apprehending Dominic Toretto and his crew in Rio de Janeiro. The team was lead by hulking DSS agent Luke Hobbs.
History
2011
After Dom's crew performed a heist to hijack a train and steal three cars for corrupt businessman Hernan Reyes, they were framed by his hitman Zizi for the deaths of several DEA agents. As a result, Luke Hobbs and his teammates were sent to Rio to arrest Dom's crew and extradite them back to the U.S for imprisonment. They also received assistance from local police officer Elena Neves.
After the team captured Dom and his team and prepared to extradite them back to the U.S., the convoy was ambushed by Zizi and more of Reyes' men. As Hobbs and his team exchanged gunfire the attackers, they were all killed during the fight, leaving Hobbs as the only survivor. Just as the terrorists closed in on Hobbs for the killing, Dom's team convinced Elena to free them and killed the rests the attackers, except for Zizi.
After the deaths of his fellow teammates and Vince, Hobbs decided to aid Dom's team in stealing Reyes' money in exchange for killing Reyes to avenge his fallen team. With aid from Elena, Dom's team was able to steal the money and eliminate the contingent of corrupt cops pursuing them, as well as the rest of Reyes' men and Zizi. Afterwards, Hobbs' arrived and despite Reyes' pleas for help were ignored as Hobbs' swiftly killed Reyes, avenging his team.
After the death of Hernan Reyes, the DSS team officially disbanded on account of their deaths, although Hobbs would continue his job in the DSS.
