Luke Hobbs was called to Moscow after Owen Shaw's Team attacked a Russian military convoy to steal a component to build a Nightshade device for Cipher. It was there that Hobbs meets Riley Hicks, a DSS agent who is secretly working for Owen Shaw. Around the same time, Oakes, a member of Owen's team, was captured by Interpol.
2019[]
To infiltrate the Eteon Weapons & Biotech Facility, Deckard Shaw, Hattie Shaw and Luke Hobbs traveled to Moscow to visit Margarita, a professional thief and contact of Deckard who had ransacked a mansion owned by Russian mobsters with her team. who greeted the trio by making out with Deckard. Shortly after, she provided Hobbs and Deckard with protective gear and firearms while informing them that facility was too heavily guarded to mount a full-scale assault. The group then decided to have Margarita deliver Hattie to Brixton Lore in order to have Hattie escorted to a virus extracting machine. Later that night, delivering Hattie, Madam M was asked by Brixton if Deckard and Hobbs were with her when she was "captured", and was threatened by Brixton when she coolly responded that Hattie had been alone.[1]
