- "I guess you don't like pickles."
"Are you serious? I love pickles! They're spicy and salty, just like me." - ―Ms. Nowhere and Tony Toretto
Janet, also known as Ms. Nowhere, is a covert agent who serves as the liaison between Tony Toretto's Crew and the Agency.
History[]
Season 1[]
"Born a Toretto"[]
- "You're in serious danger. If Layla Gray catches you, I can't guarantee your safety."
"I know."
"Not just your safety. There's also my career. I just made it to Nowhere, and I will not get bumped back to Ms. Nothing. I was a Nothing for too long, Frostee! Plus SH1FT3R gets the nuclear keys or whatever." - ―Ms. Nowhere and Frostee Benson
Ms. Nowhere is introduced to Tony Toretto, Echo (whose real name is Margaret), Cisco Renaldo and Frostee Benson where she arranges to have Dominic Toretto publicly "kidnapped", knowing that Tony Toretto's Crew would pursue them. In order to test the crew, she has bikers follow the drivers to gauge how they would react and how fast they would manage to track Dom to their government warehouse facility.
As the gang enter the warehouse, Dom reveals to the crew that it was a test and that Mr. Nobody, whose organization Dom has worked with in the past, needs a group of street racers to infiltrate SH1FT3R, a criminal organization who hosts street races to serve as cover for its massive heists, with its leader Shashi Dhar already haven stolen over three billion dollars from Silicon Valley's richest men. Tony wonders why they need them when Dom is there, to which Dom laughingly responds that he cannot go undercover as he would recognized instantly, and that a group of new street racers are needed, hence why he recommended Tony and his friends. As the crew agrees, Dom tells him not to just follow orders but to follow his gut. As he leaves, he warns Ms. Nowhere that SH1FT3R would be the least of her worries if she does not keep Tony safe.
Tony gleefully asks Ms. Nowhere if this means that the government would be paying for his car's new fuel pump, and she tells him that he would need much more than, revealing that SH1FT3R races allow the racers to use rockets, grappling hooks and smoke cannons, adding that "anything goes." She discloses that notable street racer Layla Gray is SH1FT3R's recruiter and that she hosts their races in Los Angeles, but that they don't know where or when these races take place.
After Tony and Frostee hack the information from Mitch's phone much to the crew's surprise, Ms. Nowhere calls off the operation, discovering that the race is being held that very night and that eligible drivers need a retinal scan to confirm their ID as well as a special implanted chip in their cars. She explains that she assumed it would take weeks to locate the time and place of a race and that the kids would be given training in those weeks, only for them to discover the time and place of the race in a mere two hours. Tony protests that he could still win if they let him attend, although she reveals that building a car with the implanted codes would take 48 hours. She then elects to use surveillance drones to merely observe the racing event in secret.
With the operation being called off, the crew leave the building, only for Tony to inform them that as a Toretto, he follows his gut over orders and that he was going to try to find a way to participate and win in the race. Echo then discloses that she stole Ms. Nowhere's purse, which contains several gadgets that Nowhere had shown off to her while Tony and Frostee had left to clone Mitch's phone. Tony and Frostee head to hack Tony's retinal ID in while Cisco and Echo leave to steal Mitch's car. The agency's surveillance drone reveals the crew in Mitch's car, much to Ms. Nowhere's surprise, and she realizes that her tactical purse is missing.
She then calls Frostee and tells him to get out, reminding him of the danger that they face and that she cannot protect him from it, while also adding that it would ruin her career and she would get demoted if they are jeopardized. Frostee nonchalantly dismisses her concerns so that he could focus on his work, and a worried Nowhere claims that Dom would kill them, prompting her to ask Gary whether he has clean identities prepared and ready for them. At the gates, the security guard scans Mitch's car, which houses an eligible chip, and he approaches Tony to perform a retinal scan. At that moment, Frostee successfully changes Mitch's photo ID to that of Tony's, and Tony is granted access. Gary, witnessing this through a drone, notifies Ms. Nowhere that Tony and his crew have made it in, and she immediately replies that she knew they would, dropping her former concerns.[1]
"Enter SH1FT3R"[]
- "I don't like how you did it, but I like that you did do it. So, congratulations on a job, well done. [...] We can't be caught with our pants down or hands in the cookie jar or whatever the saying is, so we need serious training. Gary, give everyone their binder. I've put you on a beginner's spy course."
- ―Ms. Nowhere to Tony Toretto's Crew
Ms. Nowhere was enlisted by Tony Toretto's Crew to help them track and locate Scadan, as the crew needed to steal Scadan's cargo as an audition to be accepted into Shashi Dhar's SH1FT3R. Despite Ms. Nowhere disapproving of them performing an op without her approval along with the means they were using to conduct the heist, she aided them anyways along with Gary, whom she stated she did not want to be with. She notified Tony that she loved pickles, and stole Gary's pickles to eat, telling him to get his own after he asked to have one even though they were his.
After the crew succeed in their mission, Ms. Nowhere greeted them at the warehouse with Gary, informing them that while she did not like that they took an op without her approval nor did she approve of the means, she was grateful for the mission's success, and provided them with binders, stating that she would be placing them in a beginner's spy course. However, Echo tells her that they are doing much for her and demand something in return, with Frostee suggesting that they spruce up the warehouse. Ms. Nowhere then gives them a government credit card to purchase ferns and a cat calendar, although the crew splurge, purchasing a boxing ring and a mechanical bull among other things.[2]
"Ghost Town Grand Prix"[]
Tony Toretto's Crew are given a tech hauler by Ms. Nowhere's organization and are driven by Cisco Renaldo to a ghost town where where SH1FT3R is holding a race. Nowhere tells Tony that his obstacle is not to win the race but to follow Shashi Dhar, reminding him that Shashi uses the SH1FT3R races as cover for his heists and that the upcoming race would also be indicative of a new heist.
Echo stays in the hauler Nowhere has given them while Frostee Benson and Cisco head into the track's mines, as the crew believe this is where Shashi's heist will take place. Monitoring the course through the hauler's computers, Echo notices that there are train tracks in the vicinity and asks Nowhere why it is not on their map; Nowhere deflects the query to Gary, who answers that it is because no one uses the tracks and because there is no way to get to the train tracks from the race course.
After the crew return to the warehouse after the race, Ms. Nowhere berates the crew for failing to stop Shashi from successfully pulling off his heist, telling them that Gary is furious, although Gary replies that he understands their failure, accrediting it to their lack of training. Frostee then informs her that he managed to put a tracker on the train car and that they would be tracking where it ends up, and Tony claims that they did good.[3]
"The Owl Job"[]
Tony returns to the warehouse after a meeting with Shashi Dhar and informs his crew, as well as Ms. Nowhere, about the mission Shashi gave him, and mentions that as Shashi would not be home, they could infiltrate his mansion and search for the 'keys' he has been stealing. Cisco Renaldo, Frostee Benson, and Echo are tasked with breaking into Shashi's mansion as Nowhere uses a government weather machine to create an artificial earthquake, causing the security cameras around Shashi's house to reboot; Frostee hacks into the feed as this happens and loops the previous feed, so that Rusty, the security guard, believes he is seeing a live footage of no one in the house, allowing Cisco, Echo, and Frostee to explore the house freely.
Gaining access into a secret room, Cisco, Echo, and Frostee spot multiple cars, which they are all impressed with, although Nowhere communicates with them and tells them to focus on finding the 'keys'. The trio begin looking for USBs or hard drives, and Frostee, noticing a crystal, suggests that perhaps the crystal contains the keys, revealing that crystals can hold a lot of data nowadays. Tony, who is connected to them through his earpiece, realizes that the jewel he had spotted on Sudarikov's owl is a data crystal and successfully steals it. Tony then alerts the rest of his crew that Shashi is on his way back and tells them to get out of there.
Returning to the warehouse, Ms. Nowhere tells the crew that their mission wasn't an entire failure as stealing the codes from Sudarikov prevented him from selling them in exchange for weapons of mass destruction.[4]
"The Celestial Vault"[]
- "Get back down, we'll take it from here. I'll call in air support."
"No, this is our last chance. I won't let Shashi beat me."
"Toretto, abort! This isn't a game! You're totally outnumbered and you have no plan." - ―Ms. Nowhere and Tony Toretto
Ms. Nowhere, along with subordinates Gary and Julius, are informed by Tony Toretto's Crew that Shashi Dhar is hosting a SH1FT3R race atop Mount Zebulon, a private mountain owned by billionaire Delwyn Usk, as that the codes they stole from Sudarikov unlocked the security for mountain. Nowhere believes a heist would be taking place to retrieve another one of the 'keys', although Tony Toretto states that there would not be a heist since Layla Gray had confirmed so. He aads well-trusted by Layla and Shashi, going as far as to refer to Layla as his friend and colleague and that he had succeeded in every mission Shashi had given him, only for Nowhere to remind him that Layla is a criminal whom he is investigating and not his friend and that Shashi had given him just one mission.
Nowhere points out that there are satellites located on the top of the mountain and Frostee and Cisco reveal that they looked into Usk and that he is well-connected to the other men Shashi robbed, although Tony dismisses the connection as merely wealthy people knowing one another. Frostee also shows Nowhere an image of her from 1997, although she is unembarrassed by it. Frostee is excited to be a passenger as his friends drive up the mountain but is rejected by Nowhere, who states that she would not be placing a thirteen year old in a situation with no operational security.
Surveying Mount Zebulon and the race, Nowhere overhears Shashi announcing to everyone that federal agents are on their tail and that Tony and his crew are working for the feds, divulging that they broke into his house, went through his stuff and even ate his frozen yogurt. Nowhere berates Tony for his confidence that he was well-trusted and that Shashi did not suspect a thing, and hears Shashi's offer of a million dollars to any driver who successfully manages to send Tony or one of his crew members off the mountain. Nowhere orders that they retreat so that she could call in air support and tells Tony to abort the mission, although Tony refuses.
Nowhere notices that the satellite dishes on top of the mountain are being interacted with and sends in air support. Unable to hack into the satellites remotely, Frostee, against Ms. Nowhere's orders uses his propeller jetpack to leave the hauler and fly to the top of the mountain. However, as he lands next to the satellites and prepares to manually override Shashi's control, he is caught by Shashi's men. At the top of the mountain, Shashi recalls a rocket from outer space, revealing it to be a car Delwyn Usk had sent into space to prevent it from theft, with Tony realizing that the 'keys' Shashi was stealing were cars. As the federal agents begin to reach the mountain, Tony tells Shashi that he has no way off the mountain, although Shashi replies that he would never drive up a mountain without having a plan for getting off. He then reveals the captured Frostee, whom he takes as an insurance policy with him as he, along with Layla, are airlifted off the mountain by Jun, and Tony tells Nowhere not to have the air support shoot at Shashi since Frostee is with them.[5]
"The Final Key"[]
- "All due respect, no one waltzes in here and tells me what to do."
"Well, I can assure you, General, that I'm not no one, I'm Nowhere. Ms. Nowhere."
"That supposed to mean something to me?"
"It means I've been granted full authority over this operation, and as my first act I hereby relieve you of duty. This is my base now. Agents, get him out of my sight. Now excuse me while I "waltz" wherever I please." - ―General Dudley and Ms. Nowhere
Ms. Nowhere and her crew are removing all of the possessions in the crew's warehouse since they paid for them and the operation has officially been terminated. Gary notifies Nowhere that Tony Toretto, Cisco Renaldo, and Echo have entered the premises just as they arrive, and Nowhere laments that she wanted them to gather their belongings and leave before the trio showed up as she did not want to explain.
The crew lament that they have discovered that the cars are the keys and that they should rescue Frostee Benson, and while Nowhere claims that she does want to save Frostee, she would do it in time and that, with their covers blown, the operation was over. As she leaves, she takes their cars with them, citing that cars were property of the U.S. government since they paid for the vehicular upgrades, but that they would ship the cars back at the crew's expense once they finished stripping the cars of the upgrades.
Layla Gray then shows up, informing Tony that she left Shashi Dhar and SH1FT3R after Shashi took Frostee as a hostage, claiming that Shashi crossed a line in doing so. Tony refuses to believe that she has switched allegiances, but Layla reveals that she knows what Shashi's plans are: together, the five key cars open a vault that contains a weapon known as Skeleton Key inside. Just then, Nowhere and her federal agents return to apprehend Layla and take her into custody, explaining that Skeleton Key is a myth. When Tony asks what it is, Nowhere and Gary explain that it is a device that could reportedly control any technology in its radius, Gary elaborating that its wielder could unleash an apocalyptic catastrophe. Nowhere then reveals that the last key car is in military possession, as billionaire Cleve Kelso hired the government to protect it after the other key cars were stolen, and adds that she is on her way to destroy it so that Shashi can not obtain it.
As the federal agents leave with Layla, the crew return to the empty warehouse, where Cisco muses that he would do anything to save Frostee, adding that while Frostee could be annoying at times, he still misses him. Tony then comes up with the idea of stealing Kelso's key car from the military base and delivering it to Shashi in exchange for Frostee. Echo agrees to help along with Cisco, but asks Tony if it is wise to deliver the final key to a weapon to Shashi, which Tony claims they must do since Frostee is family. Tony then wonders how they can locate Nowhere and the key car although Echo immediately locates her, explaining that Nowhere uses an app to keep track of her fitness steps but that the app also sends out her location.
At the base, General Dudley refuses to allow Nowhere to destroy Kelso's car, citing that Kelso had paid them to protect it and that they could use the car to apprehend Shashi and his other key cars, which would grant them the power of Skeleton Key, and orders his soldiers to interrogate Layla. However, Nowhere reveals that she has been given official command over the base and relieves Dudley of his duties, instructing her agents to apprehend him while keeping Layla close to them.
Since they do not have vehicles or the technological capabilities to pull off the heist, Tony contacts Shashi and offers to steal the car and deliver it to him in exchange for Frostee, which Shashi agrees to. However, Tony adds that he needs Frostee behind a computer providing them with tech support so that they can pull off the heist. The trio head to the military black site and manage to successfully enter the premises.
With Frostee guiding them, Cisco and Echo head towards their hauler, Cisco taking possession of the hauler while Echo retrieves her car. Echo then creates a diversion, blasting music and detonating explosive as she drives around the base, drawing the guards away from Kelso's key car, which has yet to be destroyed. Tony then makes his way to the car but is attacked and tasered by Ms. Nowhere, who had anticipated his participation. She then exclaims that she would destroy the car and that he would go to jail, only for her to be struck by Layla, who had escaped her confinement. Layla tells Tony to get the car and leave, offering to fight Nowhere. Layla and Nowhere begin their duel and Tony gets into the car. Finding himself unable to abandon Layla, Layla is forced to activate the mechanism Nowhere had in place to destroy the car, giving Tony no alternative but to drive the car out of its hangar.
With Tony, Echo and Cisco driving their vehicles around the base and evading pursuit, Frostee hacks into an airplane and begins to commandeer it remotely, much to Shashi's shock and surprise. Layla and Ms. Nowhere continue to fight on equal terms, but Layla is defeated when Ms. Nowhere tasers her. Leaving Layla on the ground, Ms. Nowhere is given a ride by Gary and they try to prevent the plane from taking off. Frostee causes the plane to head down the runway and to open its cargo doors, telling the crew to drive on. Echo and Cisco succeed, but Tony turns around to retrieve Layla, telling the others that he cannot leave her behind.
Tony drives to where Layla is, and she claims that she must be family to him as he came back for her, to which he tells her not to push it. Since the car only has the driver's seat, Layla sits on top of the car as Tony drives through the base, with Nowhere ordering the agents and soldiers to stop him. Laser-shooting drones are deployed to shoot the car, but Layla manages to destroy them with punches and kicks, paving the way for Tony to drive the car onto the plane just as it takes off the runway. As Tony, Layla, Cisco and Echo successfully escape from the military base with the key car, Nowhere tells her agents to get her jet.[6]
"Ignition"[]
- "Thought you could get away from me? I'm Nowhere! I've forgotten more about being an international spy than you'll ever know! Put this plane down now! [...] I know they did not just buck me from my own plane! This is why I do not have children!"
"Is it, though?"
"Shut up, Gary!" - ―Ms. Nowhere and Gary
Tony Toretto, Layla Gray, Cisco Renaldo and Echo are struggling to find their footing as their plane is unable to remain steady, since Frostee Benson has never flown a real plane before and is having trouble with the turbulence. Shortly after managing to rectify the situation, another jet flies in behind them, flown by Gary. Ms. Nowhere orders them to land the plane and relinquish the key car, although Tony refuses and disconnects the call, wishing to save Frostee. Nowhere then uses a flight suit and jumps out of her jet to land on the crew's spy plane, where she begins to use her heels on the glass. Fearful that she may somehow enter the plane, Tony asks the crew if she has a parachute and then orders Frostee to get her off, which he does so by rolling the plane in mid-air until Nowhere is thrown off, forced to use her parachute.
Just at that moment, two military jets begin to tail the spy plane. General Dudley, now having retaken the military base, orders the jet to shoot the spy plane down. As the two military jets fire missiles, Tony asks Frostee if the spy plane has any defensive counterneasures, and Frostee replies that there is a cloaking mechanism. Gary, commandeering Ms. Nowhere's plane, informs her that the military has engaged weapons and asks her what he should do, and after a moment of reflection, she tells him to save the kids. Gary then deploys a craft that takes the hit from the missiles, and with the cover of the fiery explosion, Frostee manages to activate the spy plane's cloaking, allowing them to fly freely and safely.
Nowhere and Gary land back at the base, where General Dudley announces that the pair are under arrest for aiding and abetting enemies of the state. As the soldiers move to apprehend Nowhere, Gary fights them, defeating many of them with ease. As the other soldiers slink back, Nowhere tells Gary to stand down and allows the soldiers to handcuff her and Gary.[7]
"The Key to the Strip"[]
- "I thought I told you to keep my cousin safe."
"Seems like trouble follows the Torettos wherever they go." - ―Dominic Toretto and Ms. Nowhere
At the military base, Ms. Nowhere and Gary are locked in a cell, with Gary playing the harmonica. Gary is horrified that Nowhere has fed his pet roach to her pet bird, but their conversation is cut short by the arrival of Dominic Toretto, who frees them. Dom reminds Nowhere that she had asked him to keep Tony Toretto safe and she retorts that trouble seemed to follow the Torettos wherever they went.
Ms. Nowhere, Gary, and Dominic take the jet and fly above the Las Vegas Strip, where they notice a building demolishing. With no way to safely exit the collapsing building, Tony drives out of one of the windows in desperation; before he can plummet, however, he is snagged by a harpoon fired by Dominic from the airplane and is towed into the plane. Now safely onboard the plane, Tony is shocked to see Dominic there. As Nowhere and Gary approach them, Dominic states that he would always be there for his family, and Tony says that he had always wanted to be like Dom but never realized what that truly meant, to which Dom replies that Tony still stepped up and finished the job and that he is proud of him.
In the aftermath of the incident, Ms. Nowhere asks Tony what happened to Skeleton Key, and Tony leads her to believe that the helmet was in the building and was most likely destroyed in the demolition. She replies that it was most likely for the best, as the helmet would be too powerful in the wrong hands. Parting ways with Tony and his crew, Nowhere and Gary make their way to their plane only to find it missing. Nowhere and Gary then witness Tony, who is wearing the Skeleton Key helmet, using its powers to remote control her plane and steal it.[8]
Rio[]
"Escape from L.A."[]
While Tony's crew took down a man's group, the man escaped. As the man escaped by jumping directly before a train passed, Echo told Ms. Nowhere that he had taken their bait. While listening to the man's conversation, they found out the man ordered the hard drive to be taken out of the city at that instant. Ms. Nowhere also realized the SH1FT3R crew now had a new gig. As the group raced towards the gang, Tony Toretto joined them, jumping from a jet.
With the GPS coordinates on the hard drive Tony Toretto's Crew was able to find stolen goods, and broke up SH1FT3R. As they celebrated, two men jumped from inside a big container. The man had a tattoo, which Gary stated had the possibility of representing a gang or just being cool. He was told by Ms. Nowhere to be quiet, and she also told the teenagers to forget about the incident.
Later, when the crew asked questions about the man, she told them the man might be linked to international criminals trying to set up shop in Brazil. When Tony asks if they are going to Brazil for their first international investigation, the crew starts cheering, but Ms. Nowhere tells them that Interpol has it handled. Tony wonders why whenever investigations are outside of L.A., they are suddenly removed from the investigation, to which Ms. Nowhere replies that they know nothing of international investigations. Tony begs her to let them go to Brazil, but she refuses as she does not want to lose another agent, which shocks Frostee. Ms. Nowhere gets to the point and tells them that she will be on assignment for some time, and tells them to do things they used to do before they were spies. When Tony tells her he does not have a car, Ms. Nowhere offers to pull some strings in order to get him another vehicle, which ends up being an old, white van. Tony is not amused, and his friends agree with him.
When Frostee found a formula from a flower he had ordered, akin to the one the man they had captured had, they tried telling Ms. Nowhere, she got angry, but admitted the whole heist for the hard drive was to find the man in question. She also remembered they had managed to stop a smuggling ring. When she tried hanging up on them, Frostee asked what the formula was for, which confused Ms. Nowhere, though she pretended to know in front of the crew. She asked Gary to check the man's tattoos, telling him to look for a formula. When Gary went to check on the man, he had hidden on top of the cell, and knocked Gary out, managing to escape. The man stole Mitch's new car.
Gary woke up unconscious to a call from Ms. Nowhere only to find he was locked in the cell. He suggested Tony and his crew could help, but Ms. Nowhere would not listen to him. However, Ms. Nowhere eventually asked the teenagers to find the man in exchange for information on the case.
After capturing the man, Ms. Nowhere told the crew a weapon had been smuggled into Rio de Janeiro, rumored to have the ability to throw everything into chaos. Since they had found out about the formula and caught the man twice, Tony felt it was appropriate for them to be sent to Rio. Ms. Nowhere told the crew the reason she did not want to send them to Rio was because the last agent she had sent there was Layla Gray, and now they did not know about what had happened. However, Tony mentioned they would do everything to get her back. Ms. Nowhere was convinced and told them to pack their bags for Brazil.
"That Sinking Feeling"[]
On the plane arriving in Brazil, Ms. Nowhere tries getting the teenagers' attention, but Cisco Renaldo is distracted by Echo's brooch, believing it to be a spider. Frostee puts on an invisibility cloak, and surprises the group. Ms. Nowhere reminds them their mission is to make sure if Layla is alright, but is interrupted when Tony electrocutes Frostee.
She told everyone they had new identities they had to learn and gave Tony a new car. They need to contact the favelas, infiltrate the gang in Brazil, and find Layla, while finding out what the formula does. She wishes them luck on their mission, as she will now go to her own.
Soon after, Ms. Nowhere jumped from a cable and took down two men in order to retrieve a hard drive, which she did with ease.
Bem-vindo ao Rio[]
Ms. Nowhere followed a man who was kidnapped by a van. However, Ms. Nowhere was able to place a tracker on the van. Ms. Nowhere mentions she has eyes on Prince Ivan, but she realizes that who she sees appears to be an impostor, who wanted to take over his country. Ms. Nowhere was stopped by a man, however, and was challenged to a swordfight by the impostor.
Since the teenagers got into trouble Ms. Nowhere got texts from Frostee; she was able to distract the impostor, break free, and take all the men down. Now that she was free, she sent them directions to a safehouse.
Afterwards, she told Prince Ivan the plan was to get him captured so she could find out the impostor's real plan, which fascinated the prince. He offered to give her his number, but she mentioned she already had it. When she was ready, she told Gary to let the teenagers know she was on her way.
"Combustion"[]
Ms. Nowhere gathers the teenagers at the safehouse, where she tells them she is angry because they ruined her mission, their mission, and her date with the prince. Ms. Nowhere asks Tony how he knows Layla has not changed sides, but he is unable to say. Ms. Nowhere then declares herself in charge of the operation. She sent Frostee to learn what the formula does, Echo to investigate the supply chain, Cisco to learn more from Beto, and told Tony she did not need anyone to drive to a stupid situation, and told him to accompany Gary. After their meeting, she met with an old friend: agent Medina.
"Driving Blind"[]
Rafaela asks Layla to open a door, which Layla remembers the code to. Once they get in, Layla is told she must race someone, winner getting to live, while the other is killed. This is punishment because she had blown the formula up. Rafaela wanted to make sure she could drive under pressure. During Layla's race, she is crashed into by the other driver, who appears to only want to kill her. Layla tries slowing the other driver down to no avail. As the race moves on, Layla is able to barely pass her opponent. She is met by Rafaela, who congratulated her. However, since she had driven differently from the mind-controlled driver, she was able to figure out Layla was faking being mind-controlled.
Layla was grabbed by two men, and Rafaela revealed the person who had beaten her was Ms. Nowhere.
"An Echo of Nowhere"[]
Rafaela and Ms. Nowhere have the crew and Gary reunited. Gary pleads with her, but is not able to convince Rafaela, who asks her people to get rid of them. However, Frostee tells Rafaela that if she gets rid of them, she would never be able to stop the formula from exploding. She gives him 24 hours to work on it in order for them to live.
As Echo exits the building, Tony calls his car so she is able to escape, but as she is waiting to receive the car, Ms. Nowhere exits the building and blows the car up. Chased by a motorcyclist, Echo is able to knock him out and board the motorcycle, but she is followed by Ms. Nowhere and other people. In the end, Echo is able to drive in the hauler's direction, and escapes by jumping from a cliff.
Ms. Nowhere's men are complaining about how long they had been searching for Echo and argue no girl would venture the Amazons, but Ms. Nowhere believed otherwise. That is, until she realized the woods were also the perfect place to send an enemy. She asked who had radioed her, and soon realized Echo's trick.
Echo finally reaches the hauler, but triggers an alarm set up by Ms. Nowhere. Tired of running she tells Ms. Nowhere to go after her. Sending a drone, Ms. Nowhere finds Echo, who is able to shoot an arrow at the device. Afterwards, Ms. Nowhere tells her she will resume her attacks the next day.
The next day, Layla is ready to face Ms. Nowhere. She attacks them with logs and different traps she set up overnight. Ms. Nowhere recognizes Echo had been reading her spy books, but tells the girl that an echo was only a bad copy of the original.
Echo was able to get rid of all the people accompanying Ms. Nowhere, and looked at her from atop a tree. She left a bag of Paco empanada, which initially attracts Ms. Nowhere's attention, but she realizes it is a trap. Echo tries to ambush Ms. Nowhere, but is too slow and ends up being kicked by her boss. However, as she dragged herself across the floor, she managed to sink Ms. Nowhere into another trap. She reminded Ms. Nowhere that nothing relaxes the enemy more than success, which had allowed her to do that. Recognizing Ms. Nowhere had taught her everything she knew, she told her master she would wait until the mind control wore off, and also pointed out the student had now become the master.
However, Ms. Nowhere starts climbing out of the quicksand, mentioning she had not taught Echo everything she knew. As she climbed out, Echo knocked her out, and placed her back in quicksand. When Ms. Nowhere awoke, the mind control had worn off. Echo told her they must hurry, as the team would be executed in an hour.
"The Patroness"[]
Ms. Nowhere tries leaving the forest with Echo in order to stop Rafaela in Rio and also plans to ambush Rafaela by pretending to be under the effects of the formula, which Echo does not like.
Frostee looks out and sees Ms. Nowhere and Echo get out of the hauler. Echo had handcuffs on her, which led Frostee to believe that Ms. Nowhere, still under the influence of the formula had caught Echo. He uses a laser to cut through the door, and Gary and Cisco help him by pushing against it.
Ms. Nowhere asks the whereabouts of her team, and learns Tony and Layla were taken to the race. She is able to free the team, who at first believes she is still under mind-control. However, they soon learn she is not anymore, and she alone takes care of the guards. They then go to the race in order to stop Rafaela.
Since Cisco and the rest of the crew were being followed, Ms. Nowhere ordered Frostee to get his drones working, and told Echo to jump on the cannon. Due to their coordination, and all the equipment the hauler had, they were quickly able to get rid of everyone, but were soon followed by more. The persecution stopped when they got on top of an unfinished bridge, which they managed to jump over.
As Cisco, Frostee, Ms. Nowhere, Echo, and Gary neared the race, they were being ordered to stop by police, but Cisco decided to go through the police cars, and a tank. The hauler was shot at by the tank, but it covered itself before the missile reached it, allowing them to effectively move past the blockade.
In the end, however, Rafaela was able to cause a big explosion by crashing her car into the truck containing the formula.
"Tchau, Uggos"[]
In the hauler, Frostee soon realized there was a way they could track Rafaela: his medallion. Tony wondered why she would go through everybody's money. Ms. Nowhere guessed she wanted to steal something they did not know about. Cisco thought that in order to cure everyone, they could go to a Yoka factory. However, Frostee revealed that part of the antidote involved Donut's urine. Ms. Nowhere ordered the teenagers to find Rafaela, while she worked on fixing the crowd.
Frostee found Medina was looking for a prisoner who required top secret access. Gary realized Ms. Nowhere had taken the bait a couple of months ago, and had been mind-controlled by Rafaela in order to steal their spy plane. However, Frostee could not hack into the plane since Ms. Nowhere had set up an entirely different system, and the codes were now changed since she had been mind-controlled by Rafaela. Ms. Nowhere asks Frostee to stop Rafaela from getting to the plane.
In the hauler, Gary, Ms. Nowhere, and Frostee were being thrown around by the people on the outside. However, Frostee had an idea on how to un-control everybody's mind. Frostee was ready to release the wave which would cure everyone. However, he needed Ms. Nowhere and Gary to connect to the giant jumbotron overlooking the grandstands, which they were able to with relative ease, Gary running and Ms. Nowhere on his back.
Gary and Ms. Nowhere managed to plug everything in, and Frostee was able to also display a video of Rafaela telling Rio to dance instead of fighting. After beating Rafaela, Ms. Nowhere approached Tony and told him he had done a good job. Tony told reminded her he had already said they were ready for Rio, and asks her what the next mission is.
Sahara[]
"The Giant Haboob"[]
Echo was being pressured by Ms. Nowhere at her spy school, where she had to prove she was ready to be a Nobody. Gary told Echo she was doing great, and to keep going, and then told Ms. Nowhere he had intel for her. He showed her Cleve had set Matsuo and Rafaela free, and they were in Mauritanian waters. Ms. Nowhere told him to ready the jet so they could go after them.
Ms. Nowhere and Gary were flying while looking for Cleve, but were interrupted by Tony. Ms. Nowhere was mad Tony had interrupted the mission and told Gary to hang up on him, but to no avail. Ms. Nowhere realized Frostee was behind this, and told Tony the truth. She told him that while she could drop him somewhere and expect the job to get done, albeit not without making a mess, officer training was more than what he was used to; she needed someone who could use their head, and not just their heart. She asked him why he wanted to become an officer in the first place, but Tony could not answer.
As they flew, they were met with violent weather, which Gary classified as a “haboob,” which is Arabic for a dust storm with “violent wind.” They reached the eye of the Sahara, which Gary mentioned had rumors of mysterious phenomena. Ms. Nowhere believed Cleve had something to do with it. Gary realized it was not wind making the dust fly around, but static electricity. Gary lost control of the plane, and they were sucked in by the storm, and were captured.
"The Empty Well"[]
Gary was pedalling to power Ms. Nowhere’s microwave instead of the transmitter because they had to wait at least six hours until the nearest communication satellite passed over them. Gary and Ms. Nowhere had to call a random number; the number they managed to call landed them a woman named Karen, asking her to send their agency an SOS. However, the satellite passed, and the call was cut.
"The Bedouin Shield"[]
Ms. Nowhere and Gary look on as the rocket Cleve built is set off. Gary sees the storm, and mentions it is not a haboob, but a hurricane. He and Ms. Nowhere run into a water pipe that exploded, and see it is Cleve’s property, so they walk towards his base.
Gary asks Ms. Nowhere if she thinks the kids were okay, and Ms. Nowhere admits she misses laughing at them, asking Gary if he saw Tony’s fail video. She tells him that they need to survive so she can laugh to his face.
Ziri is happy he created so much rain, and Cleve tells him to start bringing the water to them. Ms. Nowhere and Gary are startled by a noise, which turns out to be water going after them through the pipes. Cleve mentions he will take care of them himself.
Ms. Nowhere and Gary are trapped by Cleve, Rafaela and Matsuo. Cleve tells her that Tony and his crew had been flushed out the night before. Cleve orders Rafaela and Matsuo to torture the pair of spies.
"The Eye of the Sahara"[]
Ms. Nowhere talks to Rafaela, asking her where she got her ideas from. Gary congratulated them on making the weather machine, which the government had been trying to do for years, but was told to be quiet by Ms. Nowhere. Rafaela told Ms. Nowhere she thought they could have both been best friends, but when she arrested her she realized it would not be possible. Matsuo tells them they would torture them and Rafaela told Ms. Nowhere her plan of giving her a manicure and not letting her post it online, which Matsuo found ridiculous since he believes a better torture would be to chop their hands off.
Matsuo and Rafaela reach a deal: the former would be allowed to beat them for an hour if the latter could shave their heads and give them lopsided winged eyeliner. However, as they begin painting Gary and Ms. Nowhere, they are interrupted by Cleve who tells them to stop.
"RoboCleve"[]
Ziri is working, and is nervous when Cleve tells him the satellite had started working again. Cleve and Rafaela told him he was busted, but Ziri tried defending himself by telling them that the people at the wreck were innocent. Cleve told him that he no longer needed him, since he could now launch the satellites on his own in order to take down the world's largest cities and bring everybody's attention to the Sahara. Rafaela and Matsuo handcuffed Ziri so he would not interfere. Cleve told the two to take Ms. Nowhere and Gary to the desert so that Tony's crew could rescue them.
Rafaela and Matsuo did as they were told, while Gary and Ms. Nowhere realized they were being used as bait. Ms. Nowhere told Rafaela they were talking about her since she was so smart, but told her that Cleve was using her.
Rafaela and Matsuo saw the two planes arriving, and made them explode when they neared the van. Cleve celebrated as his rockets were prepared. Ziri asked him why he was doing what he was doing, and Cleve told him that he wanted the world to be balanced in his favor. He was interrupted at the sight of the crew with Ms. Nowhere and Gary using motorcycles and heading towards him, however. He ordered his guards to find Matsuo and Rafaela.
As the crew raced towards Cleve's headquarters, they were met by his guards. Frostee unleashed his drones, which helped them defeat the guards while Tony took over a dune buggy and Echo took a motorcycle. They made the entrance blow up and headed inside, while Gary stayed behind to fight more security.
Once they were inside, Ziri told them that he was the one who had disconnected the satellite feeds in order to help them escape. He told them that he used to work for Cleve until he discovered he was a bad person and Tony realized he was the kid who did a backflip in the video he tried to imitate. Ziri managed to lock the door so Gary could get in without the security, and asked them how they had managed to get Ms. Nowhere and Gary, which they explained. Tony mentioned it was great meeting the kid who did a backflip with his car, and Ziri replied that he had watched Tony as well, laughing at his video.
The crew heard a loud noise, which was Cleve in his "exterminator suit." He quickly hit each and every one of them and went inside the control room, where he set off his rockets.
Layla boosted Tony in order to get to Cleve's back, while Gary fought Matsuo, who took him down. Before he could kill Gary, however, Echo took his arm out, which woke him again. Rafaela cried, and even though Matsuo told her he would survive, she mentioned it was the only thing she liked about him.
Frostee and Ziri managed to take the rockets down, and while being attacked by Cleve, Tony managed to press the button on his back, which turned out to only serve the purpose of a light show. He grabbed Tony, and threw him away while the rest of the crew was cornered. Echo realized they might not make it, but at least they had stopped Cleve. Ms. Nowhere congratulated her, and told her that she was definitely worthy of becoming a Nobody. Cleve mentioned that what Echo had said was touching, but he had a backup rocket.
"Sirocco Fire Explosion"[]
Cleve tells the crew that all their fighting has been in vain since he would launch the rocket and bring devastation to the world. He ordered the crew be sent to the underground cell, and as Rafaela said goodbye to the crew, she was surprised to see that she was sent as well. He ordered Matsuo to be left there, since he would fix his arm and poison him again.
An alarm rang, and Cisco arrived at the compound along with Sandocal and the Bedouins. They broke in, and it was revealed that Cisco had been found by Falafel and Salem and Kareem. Cisco convinced the Bedouins to take him to Cleve along with some help such as Sandocal and Ziri's brother.
At the compound, a fight ensued. Rafaela managed to break free and escape, and Tony asked Ziri how they could take the rocket down. Frostee realized there was a manual override at the top. Tony decided he would go to the top of the rocket using a motorcycle, which he struggled to ride, and fell off. However, he started climbing while being chased by Cleve. In the end, Tony managed to hang on to the rocket, but was still chased by Cleve.
In the end, Ms. Nowhere told the crew that their next task would be to capture Rafaela. She told Echo to prepare her team so they could move out in ten minutes. After Tony complained that everybody was making fun of him for what he said when he took down the tornado, Echo told him that she had learned more from him than what she could have learned from a binder, which Ms. Nowhere did not like. She explained that out in the desert, she found out that she was not just a suit, and that the team was a family who would make their decisions together.
Ms. Nowhere said they would look for Cleve, who she did not think had survived the fall.
Mexico[]
"Chasing Phantoms"[]
As a thunderstorm rages over the skies of London, Ms. Nowhere talks to Tony Toretto's Crew as they prepare to go and arrest Rafaela, who is aboard a nearby private jet. They successfully get inside and look for her, but come up empty handed. Rafaela surprises them by being outside the airplane as she activates her parachute. Back inside, Frostee directs everyone’s attention to the bomb that Rafaela left behind on the plane as a trap. The gang all successfully manage to get out before the plane explodes. Tony finds Rafaela still falling down to the ground with her parachute, and the two engage in an aerial fight. Eventually Tony lands on top of Big Ben, and from there Rafaela ends up pushing him down, and he falls onto the nearby river.
Off the waters of Fiji, Rafaela once again evades capture on a jet ski. She eventually circles back and throws bombs at Tony and the rest of his crew. Which in turn forces Mrs. Nowhere to have the team fall back and retreat.
In the sewers of Paris, Mrs. Nowhere tells the team over the comms to stay on high alert. Rafaela surprises the team when she becomes visible again after having tripped Tony over, who fell into some sewage water.
Later, the gang is on a high speed chase and hot on Rafaela’s trail. Cisco asks Frostee if they are in Switzerland, Iceland or Greenland. But Frostee doesn’t know for sure, and just says they are on some kind of land. Eventually, Rafaela launches a bomb on some nearby boulders that fall onto the road. Fortunately, Cisco’s car is able to plow through them with ease. Just when they think they have her cornered, Rafaela drives her car off a cliff, gets out of it and successfully jumps into a waiting helicopter for another escape.
In Shanghai, Tony tells Rafaela that they picked up her scent when she crossed the equator, and jokes that she probably should cut back on the perfume. Still invisible, Rafaela responds that perhaps she enjoys this game of cat and mouse she has playing with Tony and the rest of his friends. He eventually tells the wanted criminal that the building they are in is surrounded by agents. Rafaela cackles as she jumps out the building and tells Tony she will see him later; leaving him fighting a bunch of assassins he hired. Eventually Cisco, Echo and Layla come to his aid and tell Tony to go and stop Rafaela once and for all. Rafaela and Tony engage in another one on one hand fight, but eventually, Rafaela is successfully apprehended.
As Mrs. Nowhere and Gary watch Rafaela being taken back to prison inside the back of a police car, a drone drops a letter with a message for Mrs. Nowhere. According to the letter, Rafaela was Mrs. Nowhere’s hundredth high-profile arrest. As a result, she is getting an official agency-sanctioned employee gathering in her honor.
At Mrs. Nowhere’s party, Tuco and Cisco marvel at a self-destructing marshmallow, while Gary and Mrs. Nowhere pose for pictures together. Gary is excited and tells his boss he might hang some of them in his cubicle, but they too end up self-destructing. Later, it’s limbo time, only instead of a stick, it’s a laser that cuts off a head and cauterizes the wound in one go. Afterwards, Mrs. Nowhere yells out they will try their hand at the cloaked pinata. Eventually a drone drops a letter that’s from the head of the agency. While Mrs. Nowhere and the rest of her team of his spies gather for some video tributes in her honor, Tuco admits to Gary he needs to use the restroom. Gary tells Tuco he can take him there, and the two men leave.
The video is unexpectedly cut short, and the nearby drones are electrocuted and fall to the ground. The gang eventually looks up and see some unknown assailants staring down at them. Some lasers go up that traps them on the roof of the building, and three mysterious assailants leave. Mrs. Nowhere yells at Tony and his crew to run and get off the building. They try to leave through the door, but an explosion forces them back. Thanks to Frostee’s help, they are able to leave the building safe and sound. Sissy offers her help, explaining that she has been hacking and tracking for years, and it's how she has kept tabs on her older brother.
They chase after the mysterious assailants but they manage to escape. The cops arrive shortly after, but much to their surprise, they aren’t there to help them out. Instead, they are there to arrest Mrs. Nowhere and the rest of her team of spies.
Later, Gary comes in to interrogate them, and he asks them why they blew up headquarters. Mrs. Nowhere yells out that they didn’t do anything, but Gary shows them video footage that proves they are guilty of what they are being accused of.
Tony explains that isn’t them on the video, and that they were on the roof. But Gary in turn states that there were no witnesses to prove it, all the drones were disabled and the traffic cameras had their footage erased. Thus, the only evidence left is the footage of the Mrs. Nowhere and the rest of the gang seemingly laying the groundwork to blow up headquarters.
After processing all the information, Tony realizes that they have been framed.
"The Convoy"[]
At an Agency Black Site, Tony sees that he and his crew are being split up by being put in separate convoys. One of the agency’s agents tells Tony that they’ll never see or hear from each other again.
Meanwhile, Frostee is on a video call with Gary asking him to help him free Ms. Nowhere and the crew. Gary apologizes and explains how they blew up an entire floor of headquarters, and that they’re being transported momentarily. So there’s nothing he can do about it. Frostee tries to get Gary to see reason and points out how whatever “video footage” they have on his friends has to be doctored and they were framed.
Julius suggests to Gary that maybe they should help if Ms. Nowhere and the others were framed. But Gary points out that they have to be loyal to the agency. Frostee in turn asks what about being loyal to Ms. Nowhere, but Gary isn’t having it. He explains how if he were loyal to every agent that he has worked with, he’d be out of a job. He further states that agents go rogue all the time, and that he is honestly surprised Ms. Nowhere lasting as long as she did. He further mentions that the two of them have had the longest working relationship in agency history. According to Gary, she was bound to crack at some point.
Undeterred, Frostee points out idiotic it would be for Ms. Nowhere to “go rogue” during an event held in her honor. Gary in turn states that it would be the perfect cover since she would know that everyone lets their guard down on award nights. Eventually, Gary and Julius ignore Frostee as the two change the topic to discuss what their new boss will be like. Julius, for his part, hopes that whoever replaces Ms. Nowhere will at least remember more people’s names, since she called 90% of the people she worked with “tech guy”. Irritated, Frostee ends the call and vows to break out Ms. Nowhere and his friends on his own.
Frostee is able to intercept their comms though, which buys them some time to rescue the others. Frostee then tells Tony that from the other four cars, he is closest to Layla’s, so he sends Tony the coordinates for her location. Eventually, Tony is able to successfully rescue Layla and Cisco, but when they go to rescue Echo, they are shocked to see she has everything handled and under control. Before they can rescue Ms. Nowhere, the agency’s communications are back up, so Frostee explains that it will be more difficult.
It turns out that a convoy of eight spy SUVs are now present to protect Ms. Nowhere’s truck. Layla then asks how strongly everyone feels about freeing Ms. Nowhere. To which Tony explains that Ms. Nowhere is family.
Eventually, Tony and Layla are able to rescue Ms. Nowhere, and the gang gets away with a helicopter as well.
Before she destroys the camera on the chopper, Ms. Nowhere states that they have been framed, and that they won’t be seeing or hearing from them again until she finds whoever set them up. She then threatens Gary to make sure he sleeps with one eye open.
Tony and the rest of his crew are excited to be going rogue with the best of the best. Ms. Nowhere then goes on to say how she has imagined this moment many times. She saw herself stealing a chopper and taking off for the poles with nothing but a taser and a clean pair of underwear. But admittedly, she never pictured herself doing it with a bunch of tweens in tow.
Later, Ms. Nowhere explains how the agency will be coming after them with everything they’ve got. If they don’t find out who framed them, then they will be living the rest of their lives looking over their shoulders. Never knowing which stranger in a café is the one that holds their death warrants.
Ms. Nowhere wonders who they will send after them and laughs saying how it is probably a small pool to choose from since whoever it is has to be better than her.
Elsewhere, Palindrome shows up as Ms. Nowhere’s replacement. Julius then tells Gary that the reason they call their new boss Palindrome, is because he always puts fugitives right back to where they started.
"The Fugitives"[]
Somewhere in Mexico, Ms. Nowhere is still fuming over the fact that someone made it look like they robbed spy headquarters at an event in her honor. Frostee then pipes up by saying that if they can find the footage from the night of the attack, he might be able to analyze it and figure out what actually happened.
In the meantime, they need to find a place to lay low. Ms. Nowhere once again brings up how as far as she is concerned, Uncle Tuco is the only x factor in the whole equation because he wasn’t invited to her party. Layla also points out how Tuco did conveniently disappear right before the attack. She further mentions how thanks to Cisco’s big mouth, he also knows everything about them. Cisco sticks up for his uncle, and says his Uncle Tuco would never betray them like that.
Eventually, they decide to go to Mexico City to confront Tuco and ask him what he knows about their current situation. But before they can do that, Ms. Nowhere admits they need some cash and additional supplies. Frostee suggests they sell their stolen helicopter, but Ms. Nowhere is adamantly against. Her reasoning being that you never know when one might need a spare helicopter for added leverage.
Elsewhere, Palindrome mentions how Ms. Nowhere is the highest-value target he has had to chase down in a long time. He then explains how he tried to interrogate Frostee’s associate, about Ms.Nowhere and her team, but she just wouldn’t crack.
Julius eventually tells Palindrome that Ms. Nowhere is a Saggitarius, but reads more Scorpio due to her resourceful yet distrustful nature. Ms. Nowhere’s favorite color is khaki. Gary interjects saying it used to be khaki but now it’s black. Further questioning her former employees, Palindrome finds out one of Ms. Nowhere’s safehouses.
Just as Ms. Nowhere, Tony and his crew arrive at her safe house, an alarm lets them know they have unwanted visitors.
Quickly, Ms. Nowhere decides she will go outside and distract Palindrome, while everyone else disables his transport and gets the supply bags in the hauler without making a peep.
Ms. Nowhere and Palindrome engage in some trash talk as everyone else gets back in their cloaked vehicle. Gary asks Ms. Nowhere to turn herself in, but she refuses. Layla and Echo are unsuccessful in disabling Palindrome’s vehicle, as it begins beeping once an EMP is installed. He throws some unknown device onto it, and this in turn causes the cloaking for the two girls and the gang’s vehicle to become visible. Palindrome yells at them to give up as it's the smart play, but Tony gets his car out and yells out that they don’t do smart. Ms. Nowhere is able to jump onto the hood of Tony’s car and they manage to get away. Unfortunately, they lose their cash, and only get away with two bags of pork pies.
On their way to retrieve the list from Rollie and Nacho, Ms. Nowhere and Frostee come in contact with Roscoe, a dog hanging around the van. She initially mistakes the dog for a vicious guard dog, but he is ultimately really friendly. Quite easily, Ms. Nowhere and Frostee successfully find the list of racers and Frostee takes a picture of it to send to Manny.
Later, Echo and Cisco are able to successfully win their parts in the race, and the gang walks away with their money.
"That's a Moray"[]
On their way to Mexico City, a cop is standing by ready to measure a car’s speed and bust them if they go over the speed limit. However, the cloaked vehicle that Ms. Nowhere, Tony and his crew is able to speed by at 175 kilometers per hour because it’s invisible. Frostee laughs as he watches the perplexed cop, but Ms. Nowhere comes through on the screen and warns him to slow down. Frostee tells her that he was just trying to get them to where they need to be faster. But Ms. Nowhere chastises him saying that whether cloaked or not, they can’t do anything to blow their cover right now.
Ms. Nowhere and Layla continue to think that Tuco likely framed them, but Cisco and Tony on their end refuse to believe that, and want to prove his innocence.
Initially, Tony proposes they get boots on the ground in Mexico City, and start searching for Tuco. But Ms. Nowhere shoots that idea down because they won’t be able to move a muscle once in the city without first getting caught on God’s Eye.
Tony reminds her that they are all on the run together, and she’s not the leader anymore. Thus, they need to make decisions together.
When they finally get to Mexico City, Ms. Nowhere is quick to ask the museum’s curator what these so-called ghosts stole. He tells them that it was a black obsidian ring. Layla wonders if it was worth a lot, but the curator explains that it really wasn’t. But it is one of three remaining artifacts left behind by an ancient pre-Aztec culture most people have never even heard of. As it turns out, the other two artifacts end up being a ceremonial headdress, and a jewel jaguar’s tooth.
The last artifact clues in Ms. Nowhere as to the person who framed them. She later explains that his code name was Moray. She describes him as a tech engineer genius who the agency contracted about 20 years ago when she was a junior agent. He was hired to design new spy tech. Ms. Nowhere admits later though that Moray was a total weirdo, who was always going about some ancient apocalyptic prophecy. He got so obsessed with that nonsense that the agency had to eventually let him go. Right before he was fired, he gave Ms. Nowhere a jaguar tooth made out of ancient jewels, and said it was important. Since it wasn’t exactly something one can wear out, she threw it in the agency vault. Frostee realizes that this must have been the item he stole from headquarters, and now that he has the obsidian ring, this leaves only the ceremonial headdress left for him to steal.
Cisco yells out excitedly that this all but proves his Uncle Tuco’s innocence, but Ms. Nowhere points out that for all they know the two men could be working together. Cisco then states that there’s no way his uncle would work for a crazy guy like that because he is scared of conspiracy theories. So Tuco would never want to be part of one.
Through some internet sleuthing, Frostee locates the headdress, and finds out that it has been locked in a vault for thirty years, but that it will be shown at a gala at some fancy mansion in Mexico City later tonight.
The gang decides they will crash the party in order to put a stop to Moray’s plan and clear their names.
At the gala, Moray immediately recognizes Ms. Nowhere, and she asks him to dance in order to interrogate him. He then admits that he framed her because he wanted to get revenge on her for abandoning him all those years ago. But he also did because he knew he needed her out of the way since she was the only one who could possibly stop him.
Ms. Nowhere thinks she successfully stopped Moray, but he proves to be several steps ahead of her, when he reveals that her comms are down. Moray’s ghosts then show up after a smokescreen, and he takes the ceremonial headdress.
Outside, Echo wonders why Ms. Nowhere is just staring at the volcano full of mole, and Tony pipes up saying it’s weird that they haven’t heard from her. He asks Frostee if something is wrong, but Frostee tells Tony that nothing appears to be wrong with the feed from what he can see. They decide to standby and wait for Ms. Nowhere’s signal.
Ms. Nowhere groans at Moray’s speech, and then proceeds to kick one of his ghost agents. The commotion finally alerts Tony and the others to spring into action.
Inside the mansion, Ms. Nowhere yells at the guest to get out. Before Moray can escape, Tony throws a laser grenade which causes the ghost agents Moray is using to no longer be invisible. While Tony fights Moray, everyone else fights the ghost agents.
Just when they have Moray corner, he laughs and says that one more guest is just about to arrive. Not long after, Palindrome makes his entrance.
Tony yells out he will take care of Moray, while Ms. Nowhere decides she can handle Palindrome. She then instructs everyone else to get in the hauler because they need to have someone in charge of the getaway car.
Palindrome and Ms. Nowhere to fight for a bit, but she manages to successfully knock him out and leaves him behind as she escapes.
Elsewhere, Tony successfully catches up with Moray. But Moray reveals that he has sixty seconds to save his friends who may or may not still be inside the mansion. Over the comms, he asks if everyone is out of the mansion, and they tell him they are. However, Ms. Nowhere tells Tony that Palindrome is still inside. He then asks Frostee if an explosive truly is inside the mansion, and Frostee confirms his suspicions. Refusing to leave Palindrome to die, Tony lets Moray escape, and runs back to the mansion to save Palindrome.
"The Ocelot King vs. El Mariposa"[]
Gary and Julius explain to Palindrome that after interviewing the guests, they all say the same thing. That a crazy buff gentleman stole the headdress and gave a speech about the end of times. Then Ms. Nowhere and the kids showed up and a fight broke out. Julius suggests that this could mean they are innocent afterall. But Gary points out that some of the witnesses also claimed to have seen Ms. Nowhere dancing the crazy guy from earlier, so he remains doubtful. Gary does bring up how Tony Toretto did save Palindrome, who ultimately thinks that whether they are innocent or guilty is for a jury to decide. Palindrome once again reiterates how he always gets his man, and that it is their job to bring them to justice.
While on the road, Ms. Nowhere, Tony and the rest of the crew hear on the news about how foreign dignitaries were attacked today in what the authorities are calling a heist gone wrong. The newsreader then mentions how police are currently searching for a middle-aged woman and four teenagers. Ms. Nowhere is outraged that they had the nerve to call her middle-aged, while Cisco is feeling indignant at the general public thinking they are working with Moray. Not long after, they notice on their camera feeds that some police cars are behind them. Tony is frustrated at the fact that they are now double fugitives for two crimes they didn’t commit.
Rather quickly, they realize they are surrounded by police cars which are out looking for them. Ms. Nowhere admits she doesn’t want to fire local rocket launchers on the local PD, but if it means clearing their names, she is willing to do so. Before she presses the launch button, Layla reminds everyone that their hauler is still cloaked and they are invisible to everyone. That it is easier to just pull over. Unfortunately, the hauler has run out of gas, and Ms. Nowhere realizes that none of the teenagers that are on the run with her have filled up the gas tank for their mode of transportation.
Outside, Tony states that he will go get gas, while everyone else figures out what their next step is. Ms. Nowhere thinks they should arrange a parlay with Palindrome, and tell him everything they know about Moray. They can then team up, if she is feeling generous, and proceed to take down her evil ex. Tony asks her what they would do in the event that Palindrome doesn’t believe them. To which Layla further adds that it’d be like they were basically turning themselves in. Ms. Nowhere asks if anyone has better ideas, to which Cisco mentions they can alway go and find his uncle Tuco. Since he lives in Mexico City, he could help them lay low until the heat dies down. Ms. Nowhere shoots that idea down saying how for all they know Tuco could be working with Moray. Tony argues that Tuco is family and he’d never betray them.
Layla for her part brings up how on one side, Ms. Nowhere wants to run to the guy who wants to lock them up, while Tony and Cisco want to run to the guy that might have set them up. Cisco yells out that Tuco didn’t set them up, so Tony asks Layla what her plan would be then. She suggests that the best plan right now is to run. But Tony gets mad at her and mentions how it’s typical Layla behaviour; out to save her own butt. Layla yells out that isn’t what she meant.
In the chaos, Echo is forced to take Cisco’s monster truck and Ms. Nowhere joins her. Frostee then joins Layla, and Cisco goes with Tony to look for Tuco.
They are all able to successfully get away, but when Tony asks the rest of the crew to meet them at the wrestling arena. Ms. Nowhere declines as she is still set on finding Palindrome, while Layla is adamant that they need to run.
At an arcade, Ms. Nowhere has been busy playing. The Damsels of Dashpire, for three hours while Echo watches. Ms. Nowhere quickly gets past the wizard’s bane, defeats the ghost of Giliad , and then has her avatar jump into the pit of sorrow. Echo can’t believe Ms. Nowhere did that, as she was about to win the game. But not long after, they are greeted by Gary’s voice as an elf avatar on the screen. Ms. Nowhere then reveals that the video game she was busy playing was created by the agency. She then further explains that the game is really a backdoor database for agents in the field. Then in a matter of seconds, Ms. Nowhere sends in the information they had gathered on Moray and gets offline.
Meanwhile, Gary thinks Ms. Nowhere is getting sloppy after she logged into the database so willy-nilly. But Palindrome believes that she did it on purpose. He then has Gary and Julius look into Moray as he goes out on the field to do some so-called shopping.
Palindrome lets Ms. Nowhere know in old spy code that he got her message, Gary along with Julius are now looking into Moray. Further codes tell Ms. Nowhere that he wants to meet, but not at the current location. Later, Echo asks Ms. Nowhere if they just wait for Palindrome, but she laughs and tells the younger girl that only a FBI agent would make the first rendezvous point, the actual rendezvous point. Eventually Palindrome and Ms. Nowhere meet, and she tells the agent hunter that Moray’s out there planning something and in the meantime has their own agency chasing its own tail. Palindrome mentions that his only job is to bring her in. But Ms. Nowhere asks him if he is a robot only programmed to do what others tell him to do. She then tells Palindrome rather bluntly that he can either waste his time chasing after her, or he can instead help them out. That ultimately, it is his call.
Once the gang's all back together, Frostee reveals that Nacho and Rollie tried to steal the hauler while everyone else was gone, but their dog Roscoe ran the two former SH1FT3R members out of their vehicle.
"The Siege"[]
Still in Mexico City, the hauler breezes through the streets on autopilot, as Echo asks Frostee if they still have any police on their tail. He replies back by saying that they lost ‘em, and since the hauler is cloaked, it will be that much harder to find them now.
When Tuco suggests they take the hauler on a wrestling tour to put on a show like they did earlier, Tony shots that idea down. He explains how his manager is the guy who framed them, and was ultimately just using Tuco. Tony then tells Ms. Nowhere and the rest of his crew, that Moray was using Tuco’s wrestling matches as a cover. In reality, he is building a tunnel under the arena.
Cisco points out that he was right afterall that his uncle Tuco wasn’t working with Moray afterall. But Tony points out that technically Tuco was unknowingly working with Moray. So in the end, both Cisco and Ms. Nowhere were both technically right and wrong.
Later, an alarm rings on the hauler, and one of Moray’s ghost henchmen appears in the middle of the road. The ghost henchmen throws an emp, which causes the hauler to lose its cloaking and steering as well. Frostee then reveals that as a result, the hauler is going into automatic lockdown. Tony yells out to hit the brakes, but Frostee replies that those are gone too. As Roscoe whines, Ms. Nowhere orders everyone to hang onto something and brace for impact. The hauler flips a couple of times, and eventually comes to a stop.
Elsewhere, Palindrome informs Gary and Julius that he has decided their mission has changed. He agrees that Ms. Nowhere was right, and that Moray is up to something.
Julius then asks if they are on Ms. Nowhere’s side again, and if they should call up the authorities. Palindrome clarifies that they can’t because this is a mission their superiors would never approve. Thus, they are going to go rogue. Gary then asked what ultimately changed Palindrome’s mind; the fact that Tony saved him or if it was Ms. Nowhere calling him names. Palindrome says it was neither. Instead it was something deeper, and ultimately sometimes one has to feel it. He then tasks the two men to pull all the agency files on Moray, while he goes to chase down some leads in the field. He then tells the two agents that when he gets back, they are going out for ice cream together.
Inside the hauler, Cisco freaks out at hearing the officers trying to break into the hauler. But Ms. Nowhere assures everyone it is going to take a lot more than saw to get through the hauler’s armor. She then mentions that they could survive years inside the hauler if they had to. Tony exclaims that Moray is digging tunnels and planning on destroying half of Mexico City, so they don’t have time on their side right now. Frostee also points out that the bathroom is locked, so that would be an important issue as well.
Eventually, Tony apologizes to Layla for the way he acted without thinking. But Layla points out that this is always Tony’s problem. He tends to react without thinking, and is usually wrong. Later, Echo points out that if Ms. Nowhere and the agency had not been so hard on Moray fifteen years earlier, then maybe they would not be in the mess they are in at the moment. Ms. Nowhere however blames Tuco for running his mouth. Cisco defends his uncle, and Frostee agrees because Tuco never asked to be a spy and keep secrets. But Cisco was, and he failed at it big time. Cisco states that he only told those secrets because as he had said before, Tuco is family. Frostee argues that it still account, and brings up how he would never tell Sissy his secrets.
The gang continues to argue until Ms. Nowhere has Roscoe sniff a pair of Gary’s back up sunglasses. She firmly believes that after her little rendezvous with Palindrome the day before, they are on their side now. So she has Roscoe go and find them, and bring them to their current location.
Some time later, Echo realizes that the explosions outside have stopped. But Ms. Nowhere is able to hear a deep rumbling, and realizes the cops have a blowtorch at their disposal. Echo realizes this means they are likely going to get through. Which in turn means they will be shipped off to some remote ice prison or something similar. She then voices her fear of possibly having to bunk with Rafaela. Realizing that they are short on time, everyone begins to make up and apologize. Tuco then tries to cheer everyone up with a speech, by mentioning his matches, but this unintentionally has Ms. Nowhere discover a big clue.
"Into the Labyrinth"[]
Gary continues to look at Palindrome’s clue he sent, and Frostee suggests that it looks like some kind of calendar. While playing with Roscoe, Ms. Nowhere mentions that Moray has drilled tunnels to somehow target important buildings in rich areas of the city. But admits she doesn’t yet know how the ancient artifacts factor into his plan, but admits that this calendar might tell them where he will strike.
Echo then asks if anyone knows how to read said calendar on the phone screen. To which Julius admits he wishes Palindrome was there with them as he is still not back yet from his solo mission, but thinks if he were there with them, he’d be able to solve it. Ms. Nowhere isn’t too sure though, as she believes if Palindrome was such a genius, he would have included an interpretation in his message. Gary defends his new boss by saying that he probably didn’t have enough time to analyze it. Thus, Gary deduces that Moray must have captured him after he sent the photo. Ms. Nowhere interjects by asking Gary how he even knows Palindrome has been captured, to which Julius promptly replies that if he hadn’t been captured, he would already be here with them.
Tony then suggests that the museum curator they met sometime earlier probably knows how to read the calendar. Everyone else agrees and at his office, the curator explains that the calendar appears to be from the same pre-Aztec religion as the headdress, the jaguar tooth and the obsidian ring. Moreover, it was previously believed that all other artifacts were thought to have been destroyed. He asks the kids where they found it, and Echo reveals that their associate sent them that photo from a tunnel system beneath the city. Once he has enough time to analyze the image, the curato explains that it is in fact a doomsday calendar and that world will end in twelve hours. According to the calendar, the Ocelot King will appear at the appointed hour to lead his fiery volcanic army; thus cleansing all of the evil from the Earth, and leaving only his supporters.
Ms. Nowhere in turn believes Moray wants to make this prophecy come true. The curator continues by saying how this ancient culture had a superior knowledge of astrological time. So there is likely a complex scientific reasoning behind said prophecy. Frostee quickly looks through his spy watch, and figures out that there is an especially strong lunar and interplanetary gravitational pull happening right now. Thus, Frostee deduces that Moray must have used the calendar to work out when magma would be nearest to the Earth’s surface, due to the gravitational pulls. Which in turn means, he will be taking advantage of the high level of magma to generate a big eruption in twelve hours.
Inside a volcano, Moray explains to Palindrome that he isn’t going to hurt everyone in the city. Thanks to his tunnels, he has made sure that he won’t hurt the impoverished locations that he wishes to uplift. Upon learning that Ms. Nowhere and the rest of the gang escaped their hauler, Moray ordered his henchmen to take them out if they set one step in their location.
Ms. Nowhere asks Frostee if he knows what is wrong with their comms, to which he says that Moray has defense protocols that are scrambling their comms and he unfortunately can’t take them out.
Inside the volcano, the machine is activated, but right after that his henchmen tell Moray that Ms. Nowhere and the kids have infiltrated the tunnels.
"Don't Go Chasing Lavafalls"[]
A distraught Layla yells out Tony’s name but receives no answer. Thanks to Tony’s sacrifice, Ms. Nowhere and the rest of his crew get the map coordinates for Moray’s tunnel system. She then tells everyone else to meet her at the big opening where the tunnels converge. On their way there, Gary and Julius mention that they hope Palindrome is safe. Ms. Nowhere wonders out loud, just what Palindrome has done to her former underlings. Ms. Nowhere and Cisco congratulate Tony on a job well done, but Layla breaks the news to the rest of the crew that they lost Tony. At first they don’t understand what she is saying, as Cisco asks if he is just out of range. But Layla further explains that Tony went over a cliff with one of Moray’s men just as he got the map. Frostee, Echo, and Cisco gasp as the reality of Layla’s words sets in. Layla gets teary-eyed as she vows that when she finds Moray, she will make sure he never makes it above ground again.
Not long after his big speech, Layla shows up and yells out to Moray, that he messed with the wrong crew. One of Moray’s ghost henchmen cloaks himself and tries attacking him while invisible, but Layla looks on the ground and is able to tell where the henchman is by the footprints he leaves behind on the dirt. The rest of the crew soon arrive, and upon seeing Palindrome trapped, Ms. Nowhere remarks that it looks like the hunter has become the bait.
The rest of the crew cheer at finding out Tony is still alive, and upstairs, Tony tells Moray that is all over. But all Moray tells the young Toretto is that it is just the beginning. His machine fully activates the magma, and Ms. Nowhere and the rest of the crew begin to retreat. Moray for his part yells out excitedly that he has finally done it, and that Mexico City will be reborn by fire. Down below, Tuco yells out to Moray that this is not what the Ocelot King stands for, and that he was a terrible manager, so now he is fired.
With some quick thinking, Gary gets on the cage that is holding Palindrome prisoner, but is unable to immediately get the hatch open. Moray laughs and mentions how now he has two sacrifices instead of one. But is quickly knocked out by Tony who has finally learned how to use the suit, and once again stops the cage from descending any further into the lava pit. Meanwhile, Gary decides to improvise by swinging over to the edge and get themselves out of harm’s way in that manner. Julius also jumps into the cage and helps to swing, but it’s still not enough. It’s only after Ms. Nowhere pressed some buttons that give the three men more chain that they are able to succeed with their plan.
Some time later, everyone once again celebrates their latest victory, and the agency sends another letter. Gary cheers and welcomes Ms. Nowhere back into the agency and hugs her. She then hesitantly hugs Gary back. Echo asks Tuco what he will be doing now that Moray is in jail, and he admits that he doesn’t know. But thanks to all the exposure he got on the Volcanic Tunnels circuit, he has more offers than ever before. He mentions that they should all come with him, because they all have a lot of potential. Unfortunately they turn him down by telling Tuco that spying is his family business now, so he can’t join him in the wrestling one.
Palindrome and Ms. Nowhere talk in private, and he tells that because of her and the rest of her team, he no longer has a perfect record. Now he can’t actually say that he always gets his man. Ms. Nowhere tells him to not feel bad, as he’s not the first hunter to get her in his sights. She then states that in the end, she is just the one that got away from him. Palindrome scoffs and points out that she has not gotten away just yet. As fireworks break out, the two lean in and kiss. A drone takes a picture of them kissing, and just as Gary and Julius aww the moment, the picture strip self-destructs.
