Rebecca Hibberd (nee Culver) is a beauty therapist and a recurring character in the fourth series of Being Tim. She is the wife of Tony Hibberd, an employee of the Weekly Warriors game company, with whom she has a daughter called Abbie. She has very few friends and is mostly seen as a "trophy wife" for Tony to show off to his friends. Because of this, she is always looking for something more to do than her work. She first meets Sam when he's applying for a job at Weekly Warriors, and they instantly become attracted to eachother. They go out for a few drinks and after becoming very drunk, they sleep together. Sam wants to forget it ever happened, but Rebecca realises this could be the entertainment she's been looking for. She proposes that they begin an affair, and after she seduces Sam (via a footsie) and they have sex again, he agrees and they begin an affair. As of episode 12 of series 4, they are secretly having an affair, and nobody else is aware of it.
Her mother worked in a hostess bar after she came from Australia, and died when Neela was 10 years old. She was then taken in by Takashi's grandmother. Back when she was a kid, she cut class to go to the mountain and watch the older kids drift down.
When Sean Boswell arrived in Japan and goes to Madakura High School, she meets him in class. When Sean goes to the drifting world with Twinkie he sees Neela and begins talking to her when he realizes that she is with Takashi (also known as DK, Drift King), when he is confronted by him. While Han is in a meeting with Takashi, Sean talks to Neela and upsets her by calling her a military brat. After Twinkie's fight, Sean apologizes to Neela. Later they go on a date where Neela explains her past to Sean, after which Takashi beats up Sean. After Neela finds out about what DK did, she confronts him, and ends things with him, he then calls her mother a whore. She then moves in with Han and Sean's crew. She is in Sean's car during the chase, and watches Han die. Afterwards at Sean's dad's house, DK shows up and takes Neela from Sean. When Sean shows up to make a deal with DK's uncle, Neela tells him that he shouldn't be there. After the race down the mountain in which DK is beaten, Neela is free from DK and now happily dates Sean.
