Nico is the infant son of Vince and his wife Rosa .

When Brian and Mia visit Vince to discuss a job he introduces them to his wife Rosa and son Nico. Before Vince dies, Dominic promises him that he will watch over Rosa and Nico. Vince reveals that he names Nico after Dom and therefore Nico is short for Dominic. Following the successful heist Dominic provides Rosa and Nico with Vince's share of the money with a note reading "For Rosa and Nico, See you soon - Uncle Dom."
