History[]
The Fugitives[]
At headquarters, Palindrome mentions to Gary and Julius how Ms. Nowhere is the highest-value target he has had to chase down in a long time. He then explains how he tried to interrogate Frostee’s associate, about Ms.Nowhere and her team, but she just wouldn’t crack.
He asks the two men for information that could help him track down Ms. Nowhere. So Julius eventually tells Palindrome that Ms. Nowhere is a Saggitarius, but reads more Scorpio due to her resourceful yet distrustful nature. He then goes onto say how Ms. Nowhere’s favorite color is khaki. But Gary interjects by saying it used to be khaki but now it’s black. Further questioning her former employees, Palindrome eventually finds out one of Ms. Nowhere’s safehouses.
Upon seeing him face to face, Ms. Nowhere tells Tony Toretto and his crew, that Palindrome is the best of the best and an unstoppable tracker. She compares him to something akin to if a bloodhound and a cyborg had puppies. She then explains how he once trailed a team of heavily armed commandos through the Amazon, down through Patagonia and across Antarctica, back up to Africa, and finally caught them disguising themselves as mimes on the streets of Paris. He is so good at his job, that they only send him when the game to be chased is elusive and deadly; too dangerous for anyone else to handle.
Ms. Nowhere and Palindrome engage in some trash talk as everyone else gets back in their cloaked vehicle. Gary asks Ms. Nowhere to turn herself in, but she refuses. Layla and Echo are unsuccessful in disabling Palindrome’s vehicle, as it begins beeping once an EMP is installed. He throws some unknown device onto it, and this in turn causes the cloaking for the two girls and the gang’s vehicle to become visible. Palindrome yells at them to give up as it's the smart play, but Tony gets his car out and yells out that they don’t do smart. Ms. Nowhere is able to jump onto the hood of Tony’s car and they manage to get away. Unfortunately, they lose their cash, and only get away with two bags of pork pies.
That's a Moray[]
Somwhere in the middle of the ocean, Palindrome locates Manny and asks him about a woman with five kids. Manny jokes that there’s a website called Family Daters, and he’d kill it there. Palindrome isn’t in the mood for jokes, and asks that he not be toyed with. He orders Manny to tell him everything he knows, but Manny just laughs saying he is a stone cold outlaw. Palindrome cracks his knuckles and takes out a blade right above Manny’s man bun. It’s only after threatening to cut it off, that Manny confesses to having seen them a few days earlier. He tells Palindrome how he knows they were heading to Mexico City, and were looking to make some cash but that is all he knows.
Just when Ms. Nowhere and the others have Moray cornered, Palindrome makes his entrances at the mansion hosting the gala.
Tony yells out he will take care of Moray, while Ms. Nowhere decides she can handle Palindrome. She then instructs everyone else to get in the hauler because they need to have someone in charge of the getaway car.
Palindrome and Ms. Nowhere to fight for a bit, but she manages to successfully knock him out and leaves him behind as she escapes.
Elsewhere, Tony successfully catches up with Moray. But Moray reveals that he has sixty seconds to save his friends who may or may not still be inside the mansion. Over the comms, he asks if everyone is out of the mansion, and they tell him they are. However, Ms. Nowhere tells Tony that Palindrome is still inside. He then asks Frostee if an explosive truly is inside the mansion, and Frostee confirms his suspicions. Refusing to leave Palindrome to die, Tony lets Moray escape, and runs back to the mansion to save Palindrome.
Gary and Julius inform Palindrome that Tony saved him once their boss is conscious again. Perplexed, Palindrome wonders why a guilty man would save the life of the one man hunting him down.
