The Rescue of Ramsey was a successful mission undertaken by Dominic Toretto's Crew by order of Mr. Nobody to rescue computer hacker Ramsey from the mercenary team of Mose Jakande.
Background
Following the failure of Owen Shaw and his team from building the nightshade device, cyberterrorist Cipher employs mercenary Mose Jakande to kidnap computer hacker Ramsey so she can steal a device she created called God's Eye which can hack any device on the globe to find anyone wherever they may be. However, Mr. Nobody was also keeping tabs on Ramsey and the God's Eye and wished to retrieve it from her to get a target off her head. With a recommendation by Luke Hobbs, Nobody employs Dominic Toretto, Brian O'Conner, Tej Parker, Roman Pearce and Letty Ortiz, to illiterate the mercenaries as they transported Ramsey through the Caucasus Mountain Ranges and save her from certain death. With the promise of having the use of God's Eye to track down and kill Deckard Shaw after he seemingly murdered Han Seoul-Oh in Tokyo.
Rescue
Learning that the roads that the Mercenaries will travel on are not physically accessible, Tej suggests parachuting out of a plane with their cars to access the road. After successfully landing, the gang (minus Roman who was trapped in the air) chase after the mercenaries. Brian is successfully able to board the bus and free Ramsey from captivity but is trapped in the bus with Mercenary Kiet. With Ramsey now secured in Dom's off-road Charger, they are struck by Deckard in his Fast Attack Vehicle and are forced off road with mercenaries chasing after them.
Meanwhile, Letty and Tej chase after Brian in the bus as he is attacked by Kiet. After a fight between the two kills the bus driver. Brian is trapped in the bus, which is now on its side, as it moves towards the edge of the cliff. Brian is successfully able to jump off the bus just as it falls and uses the rear wing on Letty's Dodge Challenger to save himself from falling.
On the edge of the mountain, Shaw and Dom attempt to stop each other from completing their task, and this fight is infiltrated by Roman who is able to knock Shaw off a cliff. With more mercenaries chasing after Dom, he instructs Roman to return to the group as he fights them off. Dom comes face to face with Mose Jakande, with Shaw watching through a sniper rifle, who instructs him to give them Ramsey in exchange for his life. Dom causes a diversion and drives off the edge of the cliff and due to Tej's "demon love child", he is able to survive the fall and escape with Ramsey.
Aftermath
After Dom escapes, Jakande is approached by Deckard who suggests a partnership between them to stop Dom and retrieve the God's Eye, possibly due to their mutual connection through Cipher.
After gaining Ramsey's trust, she informs them that the God's Eye is with her friend in Abu Dhabi and the gang travel there next. This, through unknown reasons, is made known to Shaw and Jakande and they follow the team there.
