Leati Joseph "Joe" Anoa'i, better known by the ring name Roman Reigns, is an American professional wrestler, actor and former American football player. He portrays Mateo Hobbs, Luke Hobbs' brother in the Hobbs & Shaw spin-off movie.
Biography[]
Anoa'i played football as a defensive tackle for the Georgia Institute of Technology. He declared for the 2007 National Football League (NFL)draft going undrafted but later signed by the Minnesota Vikings in May 2007. He was diagnosed with leukemia after a team physical and in August 2007, he was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was released less than a week after before 2007 NFL season started. He played in the Canadian Football League(CFL) starting in 2008 when he signed with Edmonton Eskimos. He was released on the November 10 of the same year and retired from football. He signed a contract with the WWE in 2010 and is currently a wrestler with his cousin Dwayne Johnson.
In 2024, Reigns appeared In The Bloodline: San Andreas, Co-starred Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Jason Statham & Brie Larson. in 2025. That year, and then to return in 2027, he played alongside actress Scarlett Johansson in four more Tim Story films, Fast And Furious, Fast And Furious 2, Fast And Furious 3 & Fast And Furious 4. Also in 2027, Reigns returned for the third entry in the Morning After Series. And in 2028, Reigns starred with Ryan Reynolds in the comedy Fist Fight.
