Summary[]

As Ms. Nowhere and Echo confront Palindrome, Cisco tracks down Tuco in the wrestling ring, and Layla tells Frostee she feels unwanted on the team.

Plot[]

Gary and Julius explain to Palindrome that after interviewing the guests, they all say the same thing. That a crazy buff gentleman stole the headdress and gave a speech about the end of times. Then Ms. Nowhere and the kids showed up and a fight broke out. Julius suggests that this could mean they are innocent afterall. But Gary points out that some of the witnesses also claimed to have seen Ms. Nowhere dancing the crazy guy from earlier, so he remains doubtful. Gary does bring up how Tony Toretto did save Palindrome, who ultimately thinks that whether they are innocent or guilty is for a jury to decide. Palindrome once again reiterates how he always gets his man, and that it is their job to bring them to justice.

While on the road, Ms. Nowhere, Tony and the rest of the crew hear on the news about how foreign dignitaries were attacked today in what the authorities are calling a heist gone wrong. The newsreader then mentions how police are currently searching for a middle-aged woman and four teenagers. Ms. Nowhere is outraged that they had the nerve to call her middle-aged, while Cisco is feeling indignant at the general public thinking they are working with Moray. Not long after, they notice on their camera feeds that some police cars are behind them. Tony is frustrated at the fact that they are now double fugitives for two crimes they didn’t commit.

Rather quickly, they realize they are surrounded by police cars which are out looking for them. Ms. Nowhere admits she doesn’t want to fire local rocket launchers on the local PD, but if it means clearing their names, she is willing to do so. Before she presses the launch button, Layla reminds everyone that their hauler is still cloaked and they are invisible to everyone. That it is easier to just pull over. Unfortunately, the hauler has run out of gas, and Ms. Nowhere realizes that none of the teenagers that are on the run with her have filled up the gas tank for their mode of transportation.

Outside, Tony states that he will go get gas, while everyone else figures out what their next step is. Ms. Nowhere thinks they should arrange a parlay with Palindrome, and tell him everything they know about Moray. They can then team up, if she is feeling generous, and proceed to take down her evil ex. Tony asks her what they would do in the event that Palindrome doesn’t believe them. To which Layla further adds that it’d be like they were basically turning themselves in. Ms. Nowhere asks if anyone has better ideas, to which Cisco mentions they can alway go and find his uncle Tuco. Since he lives in Mexico City, he could help them lay low until the heat dies down. Ms. Nowhere shoots that idea down saying how for all they know Tuco could be working with Moray. Tony argues that Tuco is family and he’d never betray them.

Layla for her part brings up how on one side, Ms. Nowhere wants to run to the guy who wants to lock them up, while Tony and Cisco want to run to the guy that might have set them up. Cisco yells out that Tuco didn’t set them up, so Tony asks Layla what her plan would be then. She suggests that the best plan right now is to run. But Tony gets mad at her and mentions how its her typical behavior; out to save her own butt. Layla tells Tony that isn’t what she meant.

Sometime later, Rollie and Nacho show up on their helicopter, and yell out through their megaphone that they have Tony and his crew surrounded. They inform them that they plan to take them in to collect the reward money. The cops are also on their way to arrest them. Tony then says they need scatter. In the chaos, Echo is forced to take Cisco’s monster truck and Ms. Nowhere joins her. Frostee then joins Layla, and Cisco goes with Tony to look for Tuco.

They are all able to successfully get away, but when Tony asks the rest of the crew to meet them at the wrestling arena. Ms. Nowhere declines as she is still set on finding Palindrome, while Layla is adamant that they need to run. Tony once again reminds everyone that Tuco is family, but Layla points out that just because he wouldn’t turn on family, doesn’t mean they wouldn’t turn on him. Frostee also adds that if everyone continues to argue over the comms, the police will be able to track everyone. Tony wants everyone to listen to him, but Layla argues that he’s not listening to them. Tony then states that he is in fact listening, but he just doesn’t like what he is hearing. Angrily, Mrs. Nowhere, Layla and Tony all decide to do their own thing.

At the wrestling arena, Tony and Cisco split up to find Tuco. Tony reminds Cisco that they are still wanted criminals so he needs to keep a low profile. Rather quickly, Cisco comes across his uncle and the two hug upon seeing each other again. Tuco asks his nephew why the surprise, and points out that Cisco should have told him he was coming because he can get a discount on tickets and 5% off elotes. Cisco cuts right to the chase, and explains to his uncle that he, Frostee, Echo and Tony are all on the run and have been framed. He asks if it was the lizard people, but Cisco informs him that the building the party Tuco attended was attacked. He then asks his uncle just what exactly he thought happened to him and his friends afterwards. Tuco admits he doesn’t really know, since as soon as he went to the bathroom, there was an earthquake, then Gary had some guys drive him away afterwards. Tuco then mentions how he left him a note at the garage, but Cisco explains that they never made it back to the garage.

Cisco then goes onto tell his uncle how the person who framed this is a man named Moray. He hates that he has to ask, but wonders if Tuco knows him. Tuco says he doesn’t, but wishes he did, so that he’d get this Moray guy in a full nelson, and then reverse into a headlock until he confessed. Cisco breathes a sigh of relief and asks his uncle if he can help them in laying low. Tuco wholeheartedly agrees to help right after the match.

At an arcade, Ms. Nowhere has been busy playing The Damsels of Dashpire, for three hours while Echo watches. Ms. Nowhere quickly gets past the wizard’s bane, defeats the ghost of Giliad , and then has her avatar jump into the pit of sorrow. Echo can’t believe Ms. Nowhere did that, as she was about to win the game. But not long after, they are greeted by Gary’s voice as an elf avatar on the screen. Ms. Nowhere then reveals that the video game she was busy playing was created by the agency. She then further explains that the game is really a backdoor database for agents in the field. Then in a matter of seconds, Ms. Nowhere sends in the information they had gathered on Moray and gets offline.

Elsewhere, Frostee admits to Layla that they can’t leave the team behind, because he is the only one who knows what all the buttons are for. He further explains that the team also needs her because they’d be lost without her. Layla then admits to Frostee that they are going back to Tony and the rest of the crew, and that she was just on her solo trip to get them the gas they needed for the hauler.

Layla admits that she is still mad at everyone for their reaction towards her suggestion. She explains that when she said that they should run, she meant together. But instead, Tony acted so sure Layla was just ready to abandon them all. Which in turn makes her feel like everyone else doesn’t see her as family yet.

Meanwhile, Gary thinks Ms. Nowhere is getting sloppy after she logged into the database so willy-nilly. But Palindrome believes that she did it on purpose. He then has Gary and Julius look into Moray as he goes out on the field to do some so-called shopping.

Palindrome lets Ms. Nowhere know in old spy code that he got her message, Gary along with Julius are now looking into Moray. Further codes tell Ms. Nowhere that he wants to meet, but not at the current location. Later, Echo asks Ms. Nowhere if they just wait for Palindrome, but she laughs and tells the younger girl that only a FBI agent would make the first rendezvous point, the actual rendezvous point. Eventually Palindrome and Ms. Nowhere meet, and she tells the agent hunter that Moray’s out there planning something and in the meantime has their own agency chasing its own tail. Palindrome mentions that his only job is to bring her in. But Ms. Nowhere asks him if he is a robot only programmed to do what others tell him to do. She then tells Palindrome rather bluntly that he can either waste his time chasing after her, or he can instead help them out. That ultimately, it is his call.

Back at the wrestling arena, Cisco informs Tony that five minutes into his search, he had found his uncle Tuco, and that he didn’t frame him. Thus, in the end, he is just an honest man. However, the two younger men see from a distance Tuco and Moray engaging in a bro hug and after a series of fist bumps and other friendly gestures, Cisco realizes that the two men they are spying on definitely know each other.

Cisco grows increasingly distraught after realizing that Tuco lied to him. Later, an angry Cico steals the costume of his uncle’s opponent and goes onto fight him in the ring.

Meanwhile, Tony witnesses Moray talking with his ghost henchmen about one of the last tunnels being dug. Moray then tells his henchman that Tuco will be the first to go when the revolution comes. Unfortunately, Tony unintentionally gets caught eavesdropping and has to make a run for it.

Back in the ring, Cisco tells his uncle he is a liar, but Tuco is confused. After talking further, Tuco explains that the man Cisco saw is his manager, who gets him all the gigs and tells him where he will be fighting. Eventually, Cisco realizes that Tuco is innocent. But before they can leave, three of the ghost henchmen make their presence known, and the match becomes 3 on three, with Tony joining in. In the end, Tuco with some assistance from Tony and Cisco successfully beat the henchmen and they end up running to safety in the hauler.

Once the gang's all back together, Frostee reveals that Nacho and Rollie tried to steal the hauler while everyone else was gone, but their dog Roscoe ran the two former SH1FT3R members out of their vehicle.
